Click Up Kit + (Plus)

Click Up + is an innovative manual braking insurer, evolution of the consolidated click up model, on the market for seven years. Designed specifically for indoor and cliff climbing, it can be used with all the single dynamics ropes from Ø 8.5 to 11 mm. Compact and light, it allows you to ensure a first and top-rope climber by maneuvering the rope with both hands.

The following features make the new click up really +:

More effective in giving rope, which takes place quickly and without hitches (fig. 3), thanks to the new geometry of the shell and the new restraint system of the carabiner (Patent Pending);
More comfortable in top rope insurance, especially using indoor ropes, thanks to the new geometry of the cheeks;
Safe thanks to the V-Proof (Patent Pending) system which reduces errors due to incorrect use of the rope during the locking phase (fig. 1-2);
more ergonomic thanks to the new form of the external shell.
Like the previous model:

It allows you to stop a fall simply by holding the free side of the rope with your hand;
It allows you to drop your partner by exerting light pressure on the tool and keeping the rope tension download with the other hand;
It guarantees effective insurance even if the rope is inserted incorrectly in the device (inverted rope sides), thanks to the appropriate V -braking quarries (fig. 4).
V-proof system
During the climbing insurance phase there are critical phases (giving and recovering rope to the first, recovery rope in the top rope) in which, in the event of the fall of the climber, the "V" corner must be respected between the two rope branches. The reduction of this angle can affect the correct functioning of the device in the locking phase.
The V-Proof system, present on Click Up +, limits the errors due to the reduction of the "V" corner between the two branches of the rope.
It consists of a mobile divider which promotes the activation of the assisted braking system. If during the fall of the climber, the rope side comes into contact with the divider (fig. 1), this promotes the rotation of the device and the consequent locking of the rope (fig. 2).

The UP + click is provided and must be used with the appropriate HMS concept SGL HC carabiner, with anti-wear anodization and ACL system that prevents the possibility of loading on the minor axis.
